On Veterans Day 2007 we had a chance to shoot a real piece of US history, an original Colt M-16 A2 Commando. This one is full auto ( NFA item) and it is almost exactly like it was when it came out of the factory in 1985 or 1986. Here are some pictures of this very cool machine gun and our day testing and evaluating a gas piston upper in full auto rate of fire. We also evaluated a few types of magazine and sights

Colt .45 1911 Long Heavy Slide (LHS-45) built by Clark Custom in Keithville, LA. They are now in Princeton, LA. This 1911 features a longer sleek 6 inch slide and barrel giving an extra inch of critical sight radius. Utilizes the legendary Bo-Mar full length sight rib with Tuner and Clark Slide Mounted scope base which accommodates most Weaver style rings. This custom 1911 has a Ultra Dot 25 mounted on its rail. The UltraDot has a 25mm diameter tube and is 5.1 inches long and weighs just 3.9 oz. It has a rubber eyepiece and adjustable brightness control
